We get asked this question a lot and the simple answer is it depends. 99.9% of DSLR's (Canon 5d mk II/III, 7d, Sony A7S/A7R, Panasonic Gh5 etc) have what you call 1/4"-20 (quarter inch twenty) thread on the bottom, while other larger cameras (like RED Scarlet's, Arri Alexa's, C100/C300 - which have both) have 3/8"-16 (three eights sixteen).
But what does this mean? It means that rigs, tripods, jibs, sliders etc, with 1/4-20 will fit DSLR's and those with 3/8-16 will fit the larger cameras or just require some form of adapter. There are obviously other factors that come into it, like if there is a camera specific cage, or if your trying to put a large camera on a plastic rig, but in terms of fittings, if your camera has a 1/4"-20 thread on the bottom (which again is the standard for Canon and Nikon DSLR's, BlackMagic Cameras, Camcorders etc) then it will fit onto a rig/tripod etc of the same fitting.

In the very rare case that this has happened, we would ask you to please send us a photo that shows all the parts that you've received and inform us of what you are missing within 7 calendar days of receiving your order. We would need it in order to send it to the manufacturer and question why this is missing/get you the replacement parts. Should this happen to you we ask you to get in contact with us ASAP so we can sort the problem.
Here at GripUp we always try to look after our customers and one reason why we have so much repeat business is because we are always willing to help. Often if we sell an item, we will be able to get a replacement part for you, its that simple. We work very close with our suppliers and as filmmakers we know how annoying it is when something small gets lost/left on set. So if you have lost something and are looking for a replacement, drop us an email and we will see what we can do!

This is very rare to happen and only can happen if you are purchasing from outside the UK and is down to the following. Either you do not have the currency GBP in your Paypal account and therefore is due to the exchange rate for EUR to GBP and in the process Paypal take a fee. Or, because the price in EUR changes constantly according to the most updated currency rate of the GBP, the price can slightly fluctuate depending on when you purchase the item.
We always like to provide the lowest possible price on all our products. We also supply 3-year warranty on all purchases made on our store, which is an added extra we add in for FREE.
